Spirit Bound - Game Concept Art

I have developed a range of concept art and key art to demonstrate characters and places within a world I have created. 

This project was loosely based on my university first year final project and I chose to redevelop the characters and generate a story and game concept around it for my third year final project.

Story concept

This world is powered by spiritual energy, with spirits and humans living alongside each other. The story takes places with three main characters Siv, Kiran and Dan that have three separate experiences within this world and come together to fill the voids within their lives and defeat a repressing cult that has destroyed and corrupted the city and its people. 

This cult is run by a husk of a man called Vega, who is the mastermind of draining spiritual energy throughout the world, slowly destroying all life and weakening anyone that could appose him.  Vega drains the energy to keep himself alive and to achieve his true objective to revive the seven ancient spirits. Who are revered as gods and worshiped by religions that have slowly been absorbed into Vegas cult. He aims to reawaken these gods and harness their power to rewrite history and create a world where he didn't fail as a hero of the city costing the lives of hundreds including his wife and children.
